ATTORNEY ALEC SOLOMITA, ESQ. focuses his practice on bankruptcy and debt relief while also assisting clients with general legal services. His experience extends to debt collection and debt negotiation, FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) violations, family law, and immigration law.
Practicing in Orange, Volusia and Seminole counties as well as The Middle District of Florida’s Bankruptcy Court, Mr. Solomita is deeply familiar with the complicated process that the Federal Court requires when filing bankruptcy. Together with his clients, he explores issues relating to an individual’s qualification for a certain chapter of bankruptcy and evaluating whether and how a client’s assets can be protected.
Believing that effective attorney/client communication is essential to favorable legal outcomes, Mr. Solomita dedicates himself to regularly communicating with clients and is committed to being accessible to clients, from the pre-filing stage until a client receives a legal discharge. Practicing law in a client focused manner, he treats each client the way he would want to be treated if her were going through the same process. Honest, hardworking and sensitive to client concerns, he works to ensure that clients are highly satisfied with his efforts and are able to say they had a positive experience with him.
Mr. Solomita earned his juris doctor degree at Barry University School of Law after earning a bachelor of science degree at University of Central Florida, where he majored in criminal justice. In 2007, he was admitted to the Florida Bar Association. In 2008, he was licensed to practice in the United Sates District Court Middle District of Florida and in 2009, he was admitted to the Connecticut Bar Association.
Previously an associate in a five-attorney firm in Lake Mary, FL, Mr. Solomita established a solo practice in 2015 and welcomes new clients. He also volunteers at the Middle District of Florida’s Bankruptcy Pro Se Clinic and stays active in the community.
